Wow, that’s a long drive. You would need to know how much the drive would normally cost.
Probably close to $100 or more because he has to wait for you at the game. How many people? If there are 4 of you, you could really take care of him and give him $50 each.

Lucky you. Tip him a lot he has a far drive, and has to sit and wait for the game to end. I say at least $100.

I would give him $50.00 when you arrive at Soldier Field…for lunch. He’ll need it. The other $50.00 when you return to Springfield.

The “standard” rate is about 15% of the total fare. I would call up a limo company and find out how much they would charge, and base the tip off that. But since it’s such a long drive I wouldn’t be afraid to tip a little higher than 15%, especially since you arent paying for the tickets or the limo.
