A great place for a game on the south side is McNally’s on the western walk at 111th and western

This is not really a “sports bar” but one of my favorites for watching Bears games because it´s in the south part of downtown “the loop.”

Go to the area around Wrigley Field, along North Clark Street (check it out on a map). There are TONS of bars on that street and all of them are pretty lively places to watch a Bears game, or any other game for that matter, since most of the bars have satellite dishes and broadcast nearly every game on one of their five bazillion TV sets. You’re sure to find a bar you like. If you want to make a morning of it, get there early and stop by the Salt and Pepper diner for breakfast. I’d recommend the north side, around Wrigley Field (surprisingly, there are less bars around Soldier Field). There are dozens of bars along Clark Street like John Barleycorn and Sheffield like Messner’s that are great places to watch the game and take in some local flavor.
